THE PROFESSIONAL SHOP IS RUN BY OUR PGA PROFESSIONAL JAMIE TAYLOR
In 2008 Jamie joined the Charles Haynes team at Olton Golf Club and soon became the Assistant Golf Professional. Under Charles’ guidance he furthered his playing skills as well as completing his PGA Foundation Degree. At Olton Jamie organised and developed the Junior Academy which saw an increase in junior members and participation in golf. He assisted Charles with the successful ‘get into golf’ program and taught members and visitors on a ‘one-to-one’ or group basis.
In 2016 Jamie successfully interviewed for the position as club professional at Dudley Golf Club and has now settled in and is putting his teaching skills to the test.
Jamie has taught at all levels from low single figure handicappers to the first time golfer. Jamie says his aim is to make the game as enjoyable and as simple as he can to each individual. He strives to coach his pupils a technically sound swing that is best suited to them by understanding their physical and natural abilities and what will hopefully bring the most success to their overall game.
Jamie keeps the Dudley Golf Club pro shop stocked with a great range of up to date clothing and golfing equipment for all of your everyday needs out on the course. Jamie aims to be competitive against well known internet based retailers and he is certain that customers wont be disappointed when they visit.
